1. Have kids pick out a school outfit for each day of school on Sunday night. Hang each of the outfits on a separate hanger labeled for each day of the week.
2. Create school item cubbies for each child in your home. Have kids place their backpacks, lunch boxes, graded papers, anything to be signed and even coats and shoes in there when they arrive home. That way everything is there again when they need to leave the next morning.
3. Organize children’s toys by categories in clear containers on shelves instead of one large toy box. Kids can see what is in each container and they won’t pull out every toy they own looking for a particular item.
4. Hang a clear multi-pocket shoe bag on the back of a closet door to house accessories such as gloves, scarves, hats, nylons, tights, socks, ties and even jewelry.
